PAUL SHICKLE: 1927-2006 (MEMORIAL INFO)

I regret to inform former students and friends of Paul Shickle that he passed away this afternoon at 1:52pm at Arcadia Methodist Hospital in Southern California.

Paul was the long-time Latin (and Spanish) teacher at San Marino H.S. in San Marino, CA. He started his career at SMHS in 1956 and was one of the longest serving faculty members there, retiring in 1999 at the age of 71. He has no immediate surviving family but leaves behind hundreds of students.

A Latin Mass will be held on June 24, 2006 at 10am.

Paul's last wishes were that donations be made to Arcadia Methodist Hospital in lieu of flowers.

After the Mass on Saturday, Mr. Shickle's body will be available for public viewing at Turners & Stevens (200 E. Duarte Road, Monrovia, CA.)

Funeral services in Bloomington, IL will take place on June 28th at 10am. If anyone is interested in attending, please email Philip Peng for information on location.
